The Regional Skills Mobility Programme is helping urban job seekers to find work and relocate to South Australia’s regions where there is solid demand for skilled, semi-skilled and unskilled employees.

The 18 month project is being piloted in the Riverland, Murraylands and Limestone Coast regions, and is funded by the Australian Government Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations under the Targeting Skills Needs in Regions Programme.

It is also assisting employers in the regions to become employers of first choice, by helping them to package positions so they’re more attractive to urban job seekers.
